Spaceworld 1999 Trailer
The most exciting piece of MOTHER 64 footage ever released, featuring a D.C.M.C. soundtrack composed by Shogo Sakai. Mostly consisting of cutscenes rather than gameplay, this trailer gives us the greatest insight to the game in motion. At Spaceworld 1999, this trailer was played on repeat on the mounted televisions above the demo area. The video here was colour corrected by Park using IGN’s original source!

Spaceworld 1999 Demo Area Recording
Bet you didn’t know a recording of MOTHER 64 at Spaceworld 1999 survived, did ya? It’s all thanks to Hayao Kakizaki! It’s unfortunately very low quality and hard to make out the screens, which are seen to the left of the Donkey Kong mascot. Kakizaki did not play the game himself at the event, but his friend who accompanied him all three days did.
Nintendomania Spaceworld 1999 Sizzle Reel
A Mexican television show called “Nintendomania” did a couple episodes covering Spaceworld 1999. While sadly there was no exclusive footage of MOTHER 64 captured, higher-quality clips of the trailer were used in sizzle reels such as this one, in an episode uploaded by YouTuber Gene Simmons – THE DEMON.
